#MotivationMonday: One Move to Build Your Chest Muscles Fast

Getting that Superman-like chest plate doesn’t have to be a distant fantasy anymore.

Having a powerful chest is something that will help in many ways. Not only does it look great with your shirt off, but you’ll fill out shirts better. Designers create product with a certain body type in mind, and being slightly muscular will help the shirt or jacket fit exactly as it was designed.

Aesthetics aside, strong pecs will improve your posture and aide in your entire upper body’s movement and health. So here’s a quick workout you can do 3 times a week to improve the strength and appearance of your chest muscles.


Yup, you read that right. Except instead of doing them totally normally, you’re going to start by doing as many pushups as you can in a row.

Once you’re burned out and can’t complete anymore, immediately begin a set of resistance pushups. For these, act as if you’re going to do a pushup and slowly lower yourself to about three inches above the ground and hold for 3-5 seconds. Once you’re tired, drop to your knees and push yourself back up.

Immediately begin another resistance pushup. Continue doing this until you physically cannot hold yourself up any longer.

Your pecs will be burning, but that means you did it right. Continuing to perform this move 3 days a week will gain you results in just a few weeks. Keep going and you’ll see better and better results!
