The perfect watch isn’t the same for everyone. There are a few factors you need to consider when choosing the right watch for you. When it comes to watches, size does matter. Face size, wrist size, and watch thickness all play a part on how the watch with fit and look on your wrist.
A few things to consider:
- Wrist Size – The bigger your wrist is the bigger watch you can get away with. You want the face to take up about 2/3 of your wrist so the bands land on top of your wrist rather than the sides
- Watch Thickness – The thicker the watch the smaller you should go with the face size. Watch thickness makes the watch look bigger on the wrist that a thinner watch of the same size.
- Watch Style – The style of watch really depend on your overall style. If you dress up a lot you want something more classic and simple. If you’re more casual you can go more busy with a chronograph or a diver style watch. If you dress up on the weekdays and kick it casual on the weekend find something in between win an interchangeable band. Or just invest in more than one watch if you got it like that.
